Mr Nagdi added, “The Muslim faith like the Jewish requires the swift burial of their deceased. The delay thus far has caused a great deal of anxiety amongst the immediate family and friends. MBCOL has a very good and close working relationship with the Coroner’s office; and we have made an earnest appeal to the Coroner to facilitate the second post-mortem as quickly as possible, to bring about the swift release of the deceased body for the purpose of burial. We are confident the Coroner will do everything in his power to assist the family”.
